About Us
Washington Learning Solutions is an academic support organization dedicated to identifying needs and providing intensive interventions for learners who require targeted strategies, including those with learning differences.
WLS opened its doors to its first learners in March 2024 under the leadership of Anecia Washington, a Certified Academic Language Therapist and Licensed Dyslexia Therapist with more than 22 years of experience across public, private, and parochial education systems in the United States and abroad.
Throughout her career, Washington observed that many students were overlooked, misidentified, or labeled as having behavioral challenges rather than receiving appropriate academic interventions. She recognized that when students do not receive the proper tools, instruction, and advocacy early on, the long-term consequences can be significant.

Washington Learning Solutions was created to change that outcome. Through targeted, research-based instruction and individualized support, WLS helps students build confidence, independence, and the foundational skills needed for long-term academic and lifelong success.

Programs
We offer intensive, research-based remediation designed to support gifted learners and students with language-based learning differences.
Our programs include:

A structured, multisensory approach to reading that strengthens phonemic awareness, decoding, spelling, and fluency for students with dyslexia.

Builds symbol imagery skills to improve reading accuracy, spelling, and word recognition.

Develops concept imagery to strengthen reading comprehension, critical thinking, and expressive language.

Uses visual imagery strategies to improve math reasoning, number sense, and problem-solving skills.

Strengthens oral language comprehension and expression to help students better understand spoken language and communicate clearly.
Supporting Your Child’s Pathway Forward
Washington Learning Solutions accepts private pay, financing through Your Tuition Solutions, and State of TN funds (ESA & EFS).
We understand that investing in your child’s learning is an important decision. A sliding scale is available for qualifying families, and parents and caregivers are encouraged to contact us directly to discuss options and determine the best path forward.
Family members, community partners, and supporters who wish to invest in a learner’s path forward may choose to cover the cost of a student’s lessons.
